Glimpses of the Janmashtami Mahasatsang on 2nd Sep 2018. The day began by H.H. Sadguru Yogiraj Dr. Mangeshda bestowing Kriya Yoga diksha (initiation) to selected participants in the morning at Juhu Centre. Thereafter, Sadguruji conducted the Kriya camp for the newly initiated disciples where the level 1 Kriya techniques were taught and practiced.

The Mahasatsang celebrations started by rendition of beautiful Krishna bhajans by our Kriyabans. This was followed by a musical skit depicting the early life of Lord Krishna. The skit was brilliantly executed and enacted by kriyaban members of our Foundation's cultural wing. Sadguruji then welcomed the various dignitaries on stage. These included Shri Amol Pednekar (CEO, Hindi Vivek Magazine), Prof. Varsha Bhosale (Maharashtra State Secretary, BJP), Shri. Uttam Rawal (Vice President, Thane Vibhag, BJP) among others.

This day also marked the 10 year completion of the Kailash Mansarovar Cleanliness Drive yatra undertaken by Sadguruji and His disciples. Beautiful memories of the yatra were relived through a brief video film. The main highlight of the Mahasatsang was the Ashirvachan by Sadguruji. A thought provoking discourse dwelling on the deeper meaning of Krishna. Sadguruji also briefly explained parts of Bhagwad Gita in a very Interesting and simple manner which left the audience wanting to know more about Lord Krishna and Bhagwad Gita.
