Foundation's Cultural Day Program
AMAZING! Is the word that comes to my mind foremost when I go into reverie of the program presented yesterday by the cultural wing of Sadguru Mangeshda Kriya Yoga Foundation. What an energy quotient, finesse and enthusiasm that culminated into a superlative performance right from 5 year old toddlers to elderly artists!! It showed what efforts were put in by everybody. I was especially amused by the acts of small kids in their performance and fearlessness, be it yoga display, instrumental music or singing. Some artists were apprehensive about stage fright but it is always momentary. Once you enter the stage it engulfs you in it's Aura and empowers you to give your best. It was apparent in each act and presentation. To make available arena to the nascent grooming talent and make good use of it by budding artistes was the aim of Sadguruji. It was tremendously successful.
SMKYF had decided to celebrate the pious occasion of Vasant Panchami with the cultural show and all those present surely had a wonderful time! Thanks to this lovely concept by Revered Sadguruji, all budding and enthusiast artistes presented their skills like singing, dancing (individual and group), poetry recitation, Tabla vaadan as also playing of guitar and key board! Coinciding with the upcoming Valentine's Day, Sadguruji blessed everyone with this pure joy...nirmal aanand and unconditional love!
The choice of songs, dances and enactments were extremely apt and fluent and of high standards. The beautiful idea of Naandi to start the program and Qawwali to pause the program only to sore for new heights, was just amazing. There is no doubt in my mind that these are the crop of future talented artists. I have to mention here that at such a young age Shubham is prodigal son of versatile Sadguruji. He not only presented his skills on Tabla masterfully, he also directed the Yoga ballet of Children and actively participated in it! He is truly on the footsteps of His father! Jai ho! Special thanks to the Teachers of Shubham and Sadguruji, from whom they learn Tabla and Harmonium, for being present in the audience and gracing the evening! Sadguruji in His brief Aashirvachan explained about the importance of Vasant Panchami, energy as also the importance of sanskaras on the young minds, why this festival is celebrated, how it can mould the young minds and it also brings our rich culture to the fore!! He applauded all for their artistic efforts!!
There were many performers but mention is must here of Rajeev, Maithili and Archana Mangalore who did an exemplary work of knitting the entire programme under the guidance of Revered Sadguruji!! Little Saanvi Bhave performed in the Yoga Ballet even after having fever for the last days. Bravo Saanvi! Shri Sandeep Pandya did a fabulous job by being the Emcee for the evening! Wish many more such programs are on anvil to enjoy ourselves and encourage the upcoming artists.
