Glimpses of the Eye Pledge We Pledge drive conducted in some of the rural areas of Maharashtra. The drive was conducted in multiple locations including Shree Datta Tirthkshetra Audumber, villages near Palus, villages in Burli and Punadi in Sangli District. The volunteers reached out to various Schools, Academies, Temples, Mahila Mandals etc spreading awareness on the importance of eye donations and collected pledges from people. The overall experience was overwhelming and touching since even though the people were from a rural background, they understood the need for eye donation and many of them readily came forward to pledge their eyes. The Foundation volunteers under the leadership of H.H. Sadguru Yogiraj Dr. Mangeshda, have been organising eye donation awareness drives across India over the last few years. In this relatively short period, the volunteers have been able to collect more than 50 lakh pledges till date. Even after reaching a big milestone, the volunteers are willfully continuing with the mission.
